Dear visitor to this website
For thirty years I have been involved in Catholic adult education, and since 2006 I have worked as a leader of Christian meditation in Bavaria.
What I offer to groups in retreat and education houses serves the unfolding of the person and the deepening of their own faith. Opening up the old traditions of the Christian church for our own time, and passing them on, gives me great joy.
Against the trend of the times, I think it matters to regain more joy and more spaciousness in one's life of faith, and to set out with the participants on an attentive and loving path. What I offer allows for that direction and leaves enough room for the individual and for the group, so that the soul is given room again. Since 2007 I have also offered my work to the retreat house Werdenfels in the Diocese of Regensburg.
Training and further education
From 2009 to 2010 I broadened my pastoral and counselling skills for various fields of church work through an intensive course in pastoral practice and parish work. The course was held on behalf of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bavaria at the Diaconia's psychological counselling centre in Regensburg.
In 2011, after the intensive course in client-centred conversation and my training as a psychological counsellor at the Campus school for natural health practitioners, individual conversations in spiritual companionship and counselling became possible outside my courses as well.
During my work from 2013 to 2020 in organising the professional induction of priests in the Diocese of Regensburg, I completed a two-year training in systemic coaching grounded in the Christian understanding of the person, at Haus Werdenfels.
Further training followed in neurosystemic coaching, in systemic organisational constellations at INTAKA Regensburg, and as a supervisor.
Since 2021 I have worked freelance in Christian meditation and as a spiritual companion and supervisor.

After years of being asked what a leader of Christian meditation and a spiritual companion actually is, I now add the word "Seelsorgerin", pastoral carer, by way of explanation in short listings. In hospitals and on the telephone that title is already usual in Germany for accompanying and advising someone, carried by faith.
